Each week more and more details will start to be released about the upcoming projects and changes coming within the BeyondBitcoin and Whaleshares Communities. Opportunities are all around us in the cryptospace, blockchain technology is in it's infancy and everyone here today has a chance to get in on the ground floor.
Last week we asked you... What would you do if you could have your own whale token? Imagine how many incredible projects we could fund if a group of whales worked together, imagine how many people we could reward for contributing time and skills towards community initiatives. Many of you responded to the open challenge on @OfficialFuzzy's blog and it was great to see so many inspirational ideas.
This week Whaleshares got its new logo, and this logo represents both aspects of what is coming. The overall design represents the community that will thrive on the new blockchain as the Whaleshares DAC (Decentralized Autonomous Community) takes shape, and the inner logo represents the new Whaleshares token (WLS) that will be the native token of the new chain. This is just the beginning.
There are so many new platforms in development that will be launching this year, and this gives us the opportunities to establish a decent sized stake in those platforms from the very beginning. It's an opportunity 90% of us missed out on with the launch of the STEEM chain and Steemit platform. Although they will be competing platforms, in many respects we have an opportunity to leverage the synergies between them to help large communities of people ~ while earning decent rewards for your efforts and involvement.
As I have been saying for a while now, 2018 will be a great year for all of us willing to keep our eyes and options open. Thank you to everyone who helped make it another great week, my 41st here on Steemit.

EOSTalk Live is Growing Fast
Our LIVE show has moved to Saturday Night.
In the last show we had an update on the MASDACS.io cross-posting platform, discussed some of the updates to the EOS.IO Technical Whitepaper (Analysis provided by @syedjafri) as well as Brock's departure from block.one, we touched on the recent congressional hearing regarding regulations on crypto ICO.Tokens, and give an update on our weekly community initiatives.
Today we announced the upcoming format change to the show. We will introduce a weekly guest speaker RSVP post to allow DApp developers, DACs, Block Producers, and others working in the EOSIO space a chance to signup for a spot on the weekly show and earn EOSBits for their participation.

The VICE Token crowdsale wrapped up last week, and VIT tokens are no available to be claimed to your ERC-20 compatible wallet. It was also announced that Penthouse plans to use VIT with Penthouse Forum, Penthouse and Penthouse TV services. This follows the previous announcement that Playboy will be incorporating the Vice Token into it's online sales system later this year.
