Make it practical
We're back again for another weekly update! Time has evaded me this week, due to multiple projects running counter to each other, but this morning I've been making changes to the BuddyUP server for us all to benefit from. As well as changes, I've also made some introductions and reintroductions! Can any BuddyUP OG's remember the Finder Frogs?
As most of you all know, we are working to make the community as simple and effective as we can. We want to focus on what matters and we want to give you all a place to learn and grow alongside each other. Speaking of which, let's get on with it!
Curator or Writer
We've removed the post-mark channel and moved down our self-promotion channel for our Neon Tetra's to get involved in. It's good for us to see what all our newer members have been up to so we can go and show them more consistent support.
This change opened up a spot for the new category.
The 'SMOOTH CURRENT' category will be unlocked at the Guppy rank and it will be centered around curation and community support.
We realize that some people like to write and create and others like to highlight and curate, this is our effort to cater for everyone. The category is going to have a couple of different channels to start with which will explain different communities and curation initiatives for you to check out and take part in and will also explain how to get involved with the BuddyUP curation team.

Share your worth
I mentioned above about how we're moving down the post-link channel so more of you can share your content with us sooner. Having it at Guppy was too far away for some of you and it has evidently pushed some people away, which is completely understandable.
Most of us are here to share what we're worth as a creator and if we can't share, we can't improve.
I've made the necessary changes so that you can all start sharing your posts and I'll also be ranking up a few members after this post is published so they get a good headstart to the week. Just a heads up, please don't spam the channel, we will just de-rank you if it seems like you aren't being genuine and supportive to the other members in the channel.
Don't forget to get yourself set up on the BuddyUP whitelist. You can earn quite a few tokens using post-link if you are a regular content producer.
That brings us smoothly into our next segment...
Tokens...
Our token has been shoved down as of late because of the other projects we have been working on. They are still being sent out to you all of course for your involvement with the various BuddyUP features, but we haven't made any strides to release the token drops.
I'm going to have some discussions with the core team and see if we can get some further information sent out about this in the next couple of weeks for you all.

It's nearly that time of the week again! Tomorrow is Drop in the Ocean day, and it's a special one...
