ADSactly Community News - An Update on Our Friday’s with ADSactly

Friday_with_Adsactly.jpg

Hi ADSactly readers! It's Thursday, which means for most, that the week is coming to an end. It also means that we can start looking forward to our weekly chat show "Fridays with ADSactly", hosted by @broncofan99 and @princessmewmew

What Topics Will Be Covered?

We try to keep the conversation focused on Steemit related topics. This means we will chat about anything from new tools available to Steemians, to markdown tips, to popular Steemians to follow.

What Did We Speak About in Last Fridays With ADSactly?

This past Friday's chat was so exciting! We had our friend @persius join us. @persius is an ex stock trader who started applying his fiat trade skills to crypto at the end of last year, and has never looked back!

We learned about some of the struggles with making that transition as there is a steep learning curve when dealing not only with a cryptocurrency but also the technology behind the blockchain.

With the markets in such a rut over the past months, it was a great chance to bounce some questions off someone who has been in the trenches each and every day. @persius was able to give us some insight into how the markets fluctuate and what types of movement can signal positive or negative change. One thing I really found interesting was when he told us that in many ways the market is driven by sellers. There are always buyers in the market and it comes down to when and what the sellers will move a currency for.

Lots of questions were asked about the state of Steem as it is the currency that we hold so close here on Steemit. He was honest in his evaluation and warned that we may not have seen the bottom yet. He did however talk about how Steem is still a solid hold and it should be fine in the long run.

The currency has great function and the communities using it continue to grow. Grabbing some more Steem may not be a bad idea at the moment. Laddering down and purchasing as the market dips was discussed as a great way to reduce your overall cost on a coin.

As you buy on the dips your overall cost is spread out for all of that crypto. We also got to learn how a large sell order of Bitcoin might affect the market price. I always assumed that if Bitcoin was being held in a cold wallet and then put out on the market in a large quantity that it might have some big influence on the market price.

It could as people start to buy it and either increase or reduce the value but in terms of current market prices, all Bitcoin is accounted for in the calculations. Of course it is, we know exactly how much Bitcoin has been mined so it makes sense that it is accounted for at all times no matter where it is stored.

The falling market was referred to as a market correction during our discussions and it makes perfect sense. The entire Crypto world was turned upside down when everything mooned back in December and January. It was impossible to expect those gains to be able to hold. If you look at where Bitcoin is today, the market is still doing ok compared to a year ago.

Positive growth will come again and we will see an influx of fiat money coming back into the crypto market. December could possibly be a big month as consumer purchases start to rise again.

Thank you so much to @persius for taking the time to hang out with us and answer our questions.

Giving Back to the Community

We really encourage networking and getting to know your fellow Steemians, so our Friday's With ADSactly are a great place to meet other like minded individuals.

At ADSactly, we are all about giving back to the community, so we encourage you to come along and share the link to your latest post, and tell us a little about it. This is a wonderful way to get a few extra upvotes and some more interaction on your post.

How We Gave Back Last Friday

Did you know that we rain crypto in our hangouts? YEAH! We rained out some POLY coin, and most nights also rain out Canada E Coin and OK Cash! Super exciting. But don't come for the rains, come for the community and fun banter. It's a party 🌸
