May my mind transcend this realm
And upon it's return
Stay sane to tell the tale,
But even more important,
May it grant strength and honour
to my hand to keep it a 💯
May words bend to my will
As pen flirts then tangos with paper,
And let the mania that unfolds
Submerge you in angst,
And comfort, in joy and terror
And with every stroke,
The canvas shall drown
Deeper in wonder,
Only to smother nostalgia
Once it's essence is drawn-out,
And pencils have fulfilled purpose...
Or so I hoped!
But nooooo, nothing like that,
Stupid mind never made a backup,
And now my train of thought
Can't keep track of all the claptrap
Tryna make a pass at my genius,
Damn it! Let me articulate!!
And worst of all..
My colourless canvas still in the attic
Collecting dust,
Forced to beg for sweepy's vote
Like an addict after the last hit.
Ah! You know what, fuck it!
It's just another day well wasted,
Another missed out payout
Tho at this point...
