Color Challenge - Thursday Green - Green tomatoes and the enemy

Every year we grow our own vegetables. We like to grow organically, so bugs can be a real problem. This little guy may be cute, but he is enemy number one!

We are lucky enough to have a greenhouse, so we have been able to grow vegetables even when it is winter. These are some of the tomatoes we grew in the greenhouse:

With the arrival of spring, planting has started outside in the backyard. I have had a terrible case of hayfever the past few weeks, so I have been avoiding going outside. But I am delighted that my two kids have been very enthusiastically helping my husband with planting seeds and preparing the vege patch. If we can just keep the bugs and birds out, we should have a good yield this year! Seajai
