This morning winter decided to return ... just a few days before the official start of Spring. Several inches of snow fell. And although the sun came out and melted much of it away, some still remains.
The daffodils are depressed!
Just a few weeks ago, the record-breaking heat coaxed them out of their slumber. They always pop open, wide eyed and ready for the new season's party.
Can you imagine showing up early for a party in your finest yellow dress, only to be pelted with a bucket of ice?
