Color Challenge 💙 Friday Skyblue

Hello Steemians :)

This is my entry for Color Challenge 💙 Friday Skyblue.

This hill is called Šmarna Gora (Mount Saint Mary)

Šmarna gora is a inselbergin the north of the Ljubljansko polje.
It has two peaks: the lower Šmarna gora (669 m) and higher, Grmado (676 m).

Due to the location and the view has become a popular destination. From the mountains you can see mountains Triglav, Stol and Koroška Obir; in the south, you can see Krim, Snežnik and Trdinov vrh and Gorjanci. The nearby hills are Golo brdo, Toško Čelo, Rožnik, Rašica and Polhograjski Dolomiti.

Šmarna gora is a point on the Slovenian geological route, and beyond it is also a forest educational path.

The southern side of the mountain has trees such as downy oak (Quercus pubescens) and hop hornbeam (Ostrya carpinifolia), and the northern side is covered by a beech forest.

Peak of Šmarna Gora has been inhabited since prehistoric times.
Roman bracelet on the top of Šmarna gora and an archaeological site of Roman graves in Šmartno pod Šmarno goro leave the assumption that on it were the Romans, who were called Mons Cetius.

During the Turkish invasions at the end of the 15th century, a wall was built around the church on the top of the hill.
