Today I went out to take pictures of the houseleeks „Sempervivum“.
Sempervivum is a member of the family Crassulaceae. The botanical name of the genera Derive from the Latin words semper for 'always' and vivus for 'living' and meaning 'as much as ever-living'. The German trivial name Hauswurz has its origin in the Old High German term Wurz, which then used for 'root' or 'plant'.
