Conservation and decay

IMG_20230611_152925.jpg

Recently I was organizing my closet and going through my clothes and I discovered something. Some of them, made of artificial material or having plastic parts like a belt buckle or other things, just fall apart. The plastic has become sticky, the artificial leather is falling apart. And no, it's not because of low-quality leather or low-quality plastic. That's just the heat, that's how it works, that's the effect of it - melting, disintegration, destruction. As long as you know, cold leads to conservation and preservation.
So, I imagine what it's like to live in the north, in the cold regions. And how does one live in the south? If we want to keep ourselves younger and live longer, we obviously have to live in the north, no? 🤔🙃

Hive.jpgSoul's Detour is a project started by me years ago when I had a blog about historical and not so popular tourist destinations in Eastern Belgium, West Germany and Luxembourg. Nowadays, this blog no longer exists, but I'm still here - passionate about architecture, art and mysteries and eager to share my discoveries and point of view with you.
