The United Arab Emirates is planning to tow a massive iceberg into the region. They have also been working with China to push back the desert and add more green area. China and India both have shrunk the deserts in their regions and added more green area by planting trees and shrubs. And NASA is recognizing the impact the loss of rain forests and jungles is having.
