Middle-value city of the world at the cost of living is Dhaka. But the most expensive Bangladeshi capital of South Asia is the capital of Bangladesh.

The Economist Intelligence Unit has recently released the Cost of Living survey of 2017. Dhaka has risen to 62nd in 133 cities in the world . Dhaka has got the title of the most expensive among Southeast Asian cities in the list. In contrast, the cities of India are among the cheapest in the list. Sri Lanka's capital, Colombo, is at 108th place among eight cities in South Asia. This is the second expensive city in South Asia. Kathmandu, Nepal's capital, is at 116th place. In addition, India's capital is New Delhi 124th, Chennai 127th, Mumbai 127th, Karachi 130th in Pakistan and Bengaluru 131st in India. Singapore has placed the world's most expensive city in the top four year ranking.

The poll conducted on 133 cities in the world is considered to be worth considering 160 products and services in each city.
