Decisions cost dollars.

There might come a time when the sight of a cheeseburger doesn’t appetize or the sight of a frame blink from the firing of the shutter doesn’t satisfy. There might come a time, that day is not today.

Today, the value of appraisal, information comes into question. Some want for health applications to offer comprehensive counseling alongside medical help. Still others might long for an app to rate board games. Students already evaluate their course instructors, via ratemyprofessor.

Who doesn’t like a way to stick it to authority?

Time and money spent on the decision-making process makes sense. The feeling of wasting your precious resources weighs heavy on the heart and mind.

Americans Not Handling Their Assets?

Surprisingly, in 2022, 57% of Americans said they didn’t have a financial rep. Only 35% worked with one, in fact.

Data continues to dispel assumptions, though.

Contrary to the notion Americans aren’t seeking counsel, more might be offering custody of their assets instead.

The AUM or, assets under management, by investment advisors at the United States Securities and Exchange Commission increased considerably in the last 21 years. In 2021, as it were, assets managed by advisors peaked at more than $128 trillion U.S. dollars.

Now, picking a movie might not need the help of a planner. You could visit IMDb, instead of the SEC for time-investment-into-cinema security.

Still, you might ask somebody who knows. Our peers are one of the most often referenced groups. As a peer content reviewer, I can attest to the 2008 film Jumper hosting ninety minutes of moving cinematography.

To avoid cliché, I wouldn’t encourage anyone to hop to it, but in the next post, the discussion focuses on why the film might get you outta your seat.

Post Summary

  • Getting advice might assist in making difficult decisions.
  • Not as many Americans are seeking financial advice, but simply entrusting their assets to managers.
  • Letting people handle your money and movies might make more cents.
