After meeting up with a former co-worker/friend at a brewery, I went to the last remaining cigar bar in North Carolina - Havana Deluxe.
I enjoyed a glass of Balvenie Caribbean Cask 14yr scotch and a Cornelius & Anthony Daddy Mac.
The sweetness of the scotch pairs very well with the spicy, bold profile of the cigar.
Cornelius & Anthony is a small boutique cigar company based in Esteli, Nicaragua and still relatively unknown outside of the cigar addicts like me but will likely end up on one of the award lists that get put out yearly in the near future.
