Genesis 15:1 says, "After these things the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am your shield, and your exceeding great reward.” We don't need to fear. We have a shield. If we believe these words, then God comes and will dwell in us to be our life, our protection, and He becomes every step of our way!
