Reinforced Against the Storm

STRENGTHENED AND REINFORCED WITH MIGHTY POWER IN THE INNER MAN Eph 3:16 (AMP)

When these storms begin to blow against you and you FEEL like you are being uprooted, it will help to realize that challenges are life’s way of bringing out the tree hidden in the seed. There is no escaping it. We get deceived when we believe that because of our faith we should be exempted from certain difficulties in life.

What is consoling is that the bible says you will get reinforced. Perhaps you need to focus more on that word. To reinforce means to strengthen or support with additional material. For instance, cement when reinforced with steel and granite becomes concrete that will stand in adverse environments that cement alone or steel alone would have been useless.

God introduces something into your hidden man to completely restructure it and make it completely stable in the storm just like concrete.

“Yes I know the bible says so, but I don’t feel like it, as a matter of fact, I feel like quitting. I am done! DONE!!!”

I get the feeling. But the truth is these things do not depend on our feelings. It is not how you feel, it is simply what God has said.

Satan uses your feelings against you in order to achieve what the storm outside could not achieve – which is to make sure you uproot yourself from your place in God. Because it is extremely difficult (infact impossible) to actually uproot a child of God from God, the devil will make you cut off your supply of strength. This will ensure that the inner man is starved to death even when rooted in God.

For souls that are not born again, the devil will launch a direct attack on their spirit and SEAT RIGHT THERE IN THE SEED. This is what is called demonic possession. Imagine it like the weevil that resides inside the beans seed. It is the opposite of reinforcement.

It should encourage you that In the entire bible, there is no case of a demon possessed Christian. Not ONE! That is a person who has accepted Christ as Lord and Saviour that is also possessed by a demon. It cannot happen. Demons may afflict such a person but they cannot possess him/her.

14 For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, 15 of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, 16 that he would grant ME, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in MY inner man; 17 that Christ may dwell in MY heart by faith; that I (….please put your name), being rooted and grounded in love, 18 may be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; 19 and to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that I might be filled with all the fulness of God.
