But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God. Mark 10:14.
The kind of love/compassion Christ have is no doubt an indisputable one. The apostles were not aware of this not until this scene from the book of Mark 10:14 took place.
First off, it is possible little children can be neglected by older ones for any kind of reason. However, the case is different with Christ Jesus, He never abandoned them but He told the people not to stop the little children from coming to him.
Jesus had once told the people that we ought to be like a child in order for us to enter the kingdom of heaven. He has made it known that the attitude found in a child is one thing that could qualify us for the kingdom of heaven. These attitudes are obedience, forgiving, humble, kind, eager to learn and placing all trust upon their parents. Dear reader, do you have any of these attitudes in you? Share your thoughts below!
