The Lord has appointed the righteous at every point in time to support/help the oppressed in the neighborhood. From Acts 10:38 we are clarified that Christ Jesus focused more on the oppressed living in the society.
More often, the true Christians are advised to show this help to the needy, the poor, and those that are oppressed in the neighborhood. The reason is that, all these helpless individuals are absolutely marginalized in the society.

The helpless individuals do not have a say on their own, it is only the Lord that execute judgment and righteousness for them. This judgement and righteousness will be executed through the children of God in the society, and that's you, me, and everyone who believes in God! Dear brethren, do you love helping the oppressed?
