Authentic Christianity

It has come to my knowledge lately that the Christianity most of the world is following is written down by people who did not even met Christ, like the socalled apostle Luke. What a bummer! The initial apostles and true disciples of Christ who lived and shared their lives with him, who left family, household and lives to seek a higher spiritual truth they were mostly all of them illiterate fisherman, taxcollectors, prostitutues, lowlives and rascals and that is what makes Christ’ mercy so great. Anyone can accept and open their arms to the rich and appreciated but Christ opened his arms and shared his lives with the people who considered low in the society, that is his greatness and grace.

These people however were not scholars or learned except the few who actually betrayed him. Most of the true disciples of Christ had a direct experience, an embodiment and a communicative presence that spoke for them. These people were simple and innocent people who were able to receive the grace of their master. This is what it is about to be in the presence of a spiritual master, to be humble and some are humble by nature quite simply because they have never been tainted by power, intellectuality and greed. These lowlives, the poorest of the poor where the lowest and therefore the most humble and open people, open to receive their master, his presence.

To be in a spiritual lineage means to receive a spiritual presence and pass it on through the ages, that is why it is believed that a master never dies and that Christ lives still through our thoughts, words and action. That we give him rebirth by our actions. The socalled apostles Luke and Paul came long after Christ rose to his heights and shared his teachings and they interpreted his teachings on the background of their academical superiority as scholars. But who wants their opinions? I don’t! Give me rather the childish scribblings of the true apostles, even if they are nothing but ancient doodles. These doodles and attempts to write down their experience however unschooled they may be will carry some of Christ presence, I am certain of it.
To correct a spiritual experience in an academically correct way based on interpretations of previous spiritual teachings from the Torah or other sources is totally irrelevant and not of any interest at least to me. Spiritual presence is something you can feel and it rings with recognition of a sense of truth. Put it in fine words and it might look great but once you are done with your text, Jesus is long gone somewhere where people are present to receive him directly.

Christ teaching is so great just because he crowned the poorest with his grace. His apostles were not of fine families, not of great wealth, nor of great influence and he himself was a carpenters son. He tells us where the grace lives. It lives in what is down to earth and what cares for the other. Christ laughs with delight when people reflect him in daily matters, when common people share their real bread and not when the educated christians provide you with some “official” paperbiscuit. It is each of us that brings Christ alive in all of our actions and the true church lies within everyone’s heart.

I try to be true follower of truth and any truth I find for that matter. I believe in Christ because I find truth in what he speaks, I also believe in other masters too, like Buddha, Krishna and even a lot of less significant mystics. I to be honest, I would believe in your grandmother if her eyes where glowing with truth because I believe deeply in the living god. Jesus speaks much about the Living God, this means that it is happening now. This moment is the unfolding of the new chapters of the infinite bible, it never stopped and it will live forever.

The light is still among us
