I want to use this medium to invite everybody to support or disagree with the article above made. To the the problem of what we are facing today , regarding our too many unmarried beloved sisters that are of marriageable age . Both Christain and non Christians .With good character and yet still unmarried . I want to know , is it that men are fewer in number or is it as a result of my opinion above . in my opinion, I could take my time to search the scripture to ascertain what the bible said regarding polygamy . please I want your humble opinion to this article . Are we in the right direction or are we killing our selves with our own sword .
So please join me to dissect the scripture .

You will all agree with me that one of the most controversial word in Christiandom today is POLYGAMY

Let's keep political issues to a hold and "reason together', Isaiah 1:18. Let ponder on this issue 'POLYGAMY' as the Bible detailed it.

Are you a religious scholar? a Pastor? a Theologian? a born again Christian?.......? Please , feel free to constructively contribute, castigate, correct, admonished, advice, preach........in accordance to the Holy Bible (the word of God)

Before I go further, we are going to ponder upon this questions , please have it at the back of your mind, as we proceeds :-

1). Who was the first person to engage in the act of POLYGAMY?
2). Is POLYGAMY a sin
3). Did God condemned POLYGAMY?
4). Those that engaged in POLYGAMY, are they in Hell?
5). What is the fate of the polygamous Children?
6). Is marriage a traditional act or religious act?
7). Why do Christian condemn POLYGAMY?
8). What is the effects of POLYGAMY in Christiandom?
9). Has God change?1
Lamech was the first man to marry more than one wife, Gen 4:19

Godly/Holy persons that engaged in POLYGAMY according to the Bible.
Abdon, Judges 12:13-14
Abijah, 2 Chronicles 13-21
Abraham, Gen 16-1-3, Gen 25:1
Ahab, 1 kings 20:1-3
Ahaseurus, Esther 1:9
Ashur, 1 Chronicles 4:5
Belshazzar, Daniel 5:2
Ben-Hadad (who married Ahab's wives)
Caleb, 1 Chronicles 2:18-19
David (had 8wives), 1 Samuel 18:27, 25:39, 25:42, 2 Samuel 3:5, 5:13, 12:7-8, 12:24.
Eliphaz, Gen 36:11-12.
Elkanah, 1 Samuel 1:1-2
Esau, Gen 26:34
Ezra, 4:17-18
Gideon, Judges 8:30....and more.
We had not fewer than 40 godly and ungodly men that engage in POLYGAMY from the Bible. Also, we had not less than 43 POLYGAMY cases from the Bible.
3}

Had God condemned POLYGAMY?
No!
In all the POLYGAMY cases mentioned in the Bible, God has not condemned any except David who snatched Uriah's wife. God says to David ' in 2 Samuel 12:8; I gave your master's house to you, and your master's wives into your arms. I gave you the house of Israel and Judah. And if all this had been too little, I would have given you even more."
Why did God himself says so to David?
4}

Is POLYGAMY a sin?
Those that engage in POLYGAMY are they in hell?
Is Abraham in hell? (Luke 16:19-31)
Is Jacob in hell?
Is David, Solomon, Elkanah, Ezra.....@all, in hell?

5]

Does God permit POLYGAMY?
Yes!
Gen 21:10, If he marries another woman, he must not deprive the first one of her food, clothing and marital rights.
2 Samuel 12:8. God Himself say to David ,"...I gave your master Wives,........if you need more, I would have given you"
6}

What is the fate of the polygamous children?
Condemned or
Favoured?
Why was Joseph, Samuel, Solomon.... Highly favoured?

7.}

Before religion there was marriage.
Gen 1:26-28, Gen 2:18-25
The issue of Monogamy was purely the tradition of the western world whom were our religious colonial masters. In the land of the White, traditionally, rivalry is a taboo. But the Jew(Israelites) and the Edomite (the black) shares the same tradition. A widow is not allowed to be seen in the Street, but been remarried to their husbands relatives or friends, Gen 38.

Why do Christians condemned POLYGAMY?
The new testament completely responded seamlessly on POLYGAMY matters. The new testament talks about every aspect of Christian living axcept POLYGAMY. Mathew 19:3-9, Jesus spake about God initial plan for man. He condemned divorce but did not condemned POLYGAMY. Paul admonishment to Timothy on how to elect Church leadership, just like the case of levite of old (Moses...), 1 Timothy 3. The point of contention here is, If there were no men with more than a wife in the Church, Paul Won't have mentioned it. Also in 1 Corinthians 7:39.

Effects of POLYGAMY
POLYGAMY has it merits and demerit in the society and Christiandom at large.
1). In the Society, the Maternal Mortality rate is high in the female fox compare to men. The number of girls birth rate is higher than that of men, and the number of men dead rate is higher than that of women. The number of widows keep increasing geometry adding up to the number of single women in the society.
This leads to increase of infidelity, adultery, formication in the society compared to the days of our forefathers. So pathetic now adays to see our single girls fighting with widows for the ownerships of a guy.

2). Religiously, the so-called MONOGAMY has cause more harm than good in Christian-dom. God says in Gen 1:28 'God blessed them and said to them, "Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the ground'. But what do we have today? Christians going into family planning. The Israelites lived 430yrs only in Egypt, but Pharaoh became scared because of their rapid growth in population. I can't imaging if they were practicing Family planning and Monogamy.

IBB in his craftiness (knowing fully that Christians practiced MONOGAMY) deliberately introduced Family planning to control the ratio of Christians 65/35 of Muslims in Nigeria. He ask every Nigerian to give birth to four (4), but to his Muslims of four wives, each wife four(4). Meaning, to every 1 Christians child is 4Muslim Children, yo every 4Christian children is 16Muslim children. Now just about 30years, the population of Muslims is 50/50 to that of Muslims. If this continue, what will be the ratio of Christians in Nigeria in the next 30years?
This invariably means;
a). Nigeria is trailing the path of Turkey, North Sudan.....
b). Muslim/Muslim ticket for Presidency is assured one day.
c). Muslim/Muslim ticket in Kaduna is assured one day.
d). Our children will be denied admission/appointment.
e). Our children will be force to Islamize
f). Our daughters (that we are trying to protect today) will be used as sex slaves.
f). Sharia law will be adopted to it fullest to undermine Christians fate.

Has God Change?
God of Adam, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, .....the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, is the beginning and the end, the Alfa and Omega, He is the same yesterday, today and for ever; has not change.

CONCLUSION
What is the way out?
Christians don't be "Paul when he was Saul'
Pastors, be careful what you preach on the pulpit about POLYGAMY as what you preach, instead of becoming light, rather, it is destroying Christianity
Hosea 4:6, 4:6 my people are destroyed from lack of knowledge. "Because you have rejected knowledge, I also reject you as my priests; because you have ignored the law of your God.I also will ignore your children.

SO, HE WHO HAS AN EAR, LET HIM HEAR OOH.
