Your Bread is Enough for this Day

It is always good to start the New Year right and the best way to do it is by becoming more aware of our intimacy and communion with our Father in heaven.

Prayer is so vital in our desire to get intimate with God, knowing that we can always receive answers whenever we approach His throne of grace.

A quick look at the Matthew 6:11, the Lord's prayer disclose the two important truths in our approach of petition to our God especially at times when we need to make our request be known to Him in a way that is so passionate.

The first verses of the Lord's prayer is teaching us that petition to God should begin with God's concern. We need to acknowledge the things that is most matter to God and that is His divine concern:

We Pray about His name: "Hollowed be your name
We Pray about His Reigning in our Life : Your kingdom come
We Pray about His divine will: Your will be done

The second verses of the Lord's prayer is teaching us that petition to God should follow by our concern for ourselves and that's "daily bread" also include forgiveness, and protecting us in every evil scheme of the enemy that will potentially succumb us into temptation.

We Pray about personal provision: Give us today our daily bread
We Pray about forgiveness: Forgive us our debts
We Pray for our protection from evil one: Lead us not into temptation

As one Christian said about the Lord's prayer: "When we pray, we usually start in approaching the throne of God in heaven and then come down to earth, which is the blueprint of all divine revelation."

A blessed day to all!
