Let's read from the gospel of John the apostle this morning [John 1:1]
I will like to define the Greek term "Logos" (it mean "word" in our English translations.)
It has significant meaning in philosophical thinking at around the time John penned his gospel. It was used by followers of Aristotle's way or reasoning, specifically a group called the Stoics. It meant the physical evidence that proved something that was before only a theory. They would say "without logos, there is no truth".
i.e. there needs to be a physical expression behind an idea.
This is why it's important that we understand that JESUS is the logos of God.
NOT THE BIBLE!
The Bible is not the physical perfect representative of God, JESUS IS.
"He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation." Col 1:15
"He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature" Heb 1:3
For those that need something from the "word" ;)
Jesus is the LOGOS of God. Not the Bible.

Nous lisons l'évangile de Jean l'apôtre ce matin, [Jean 1: 1]
Je voudrais tout d'abord définir le terme grec "Logos" (cela signifie "mot" dans nos traductions en anglais).
Il a un sens significatif dans la pensée philosophique vers le moment où Jean a écrit son évangile. Il a été utilisé par les partisans de la manière ou le raisonnement d'Aristote, en particulier un groupe appelé les stoïciens. Cela signifiait la preuve physique qui prouvait quelque chose qui n'était avant qu'une théorie. Ils disaient «sans logos, il n'y a pas de vérité».
C'est-à-dire qu'il doit y avoir une expression physique derrière une idée.
C'est pourquoi il est important que nous comprenions que JESUS est le logos de Dieu.
PAS LA BIBLE!
La Bible n'est pas la représentation physique parfait de Dieu, Jesus l'EST.
"Il est l'image du Dieu invisible, le premier-né de toute la création". Col 1:15
"Il est l'éclat de la gloire de Dieu et l'empreinte exacte de sa nature" Héb 1: 3
