JESUS CHRIST, OUR SINS' SAVIOR

Jesus Our svior.jpg

Your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, and your sins have hidden his face from you so that he does not hear. Isaiah 59:2
Cry… that her iniquity is pardoned… Isaiah 40:2

Experience tells us that there are undoubtedly distinctions in the magnitude of wickedness. All sins, however, have their root in everyone’s inner state, which is hidden from other persons.

For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false witness, slander. These are what defile a person. But to eat with unwashed hands does not defile anyone.” Matthew 15:19-20

How many evil thoughts, sinful intentions or desires lie dormant in the depths of man’s nature. It is a good thing that many of them never turn into actions! But imagine what might happen to us if one day all our secret thoughts are could be read or are publicized!

Now though men cannot see our thoughts, God can. He knows us through and through. He sees us as we are, not as we present ourselves. He pronounces us guilty sinners, for every sin is an act of disobedience to His will. So we can understand why we must always remain alienated from Him in such a state. Nothing can enter heaven that is not compatible with God’s holiness.

However, God wishes to save us sinners. Salvation could only come from Him. He has given us His only begotten son, Jesus Christ as our Savior. He (Jesus) gave Himself to be the sacrifice to atone for the sins of all who entrust themselves to Him and so they can say, “I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” Galatians 2:20
