I prostrate myself before you, my Lord and Savior

Psalm 27:7-9 ------- 21st Century King James Version (KJ21)

7 Hear, O Lord, when I cry with my voice! Have mercy also upon me and answer me.
8 When Thou saidst, “Seek ye My face,” my heart said unto Thee, “Thy face, Lord, will I seek.”
9 Hide not Thy face far from me; put not Thy servant away in anger. Thou hast been my help; leave me not, neither forsake me, O God of my salvation.

We give you thanks Father and Lord our God, for allowing your light to shine in our souls, renewing with our Holy Spirit our understanding in order to conform your will. Keep in mind the time we are in and keep us from the evil that wants to come upon us; lead us by your ways and do not let us turn our gaze away from you. Show yourself to those who love you to witness that only your Father is God and that you are with us. Protect us in our path, may your light guide each of our steps, so that everything we do may glorify your name. Lord, forgive us if we have stumbled at any time and do not turn your face away from us. Lead us on the path of good in order to be found righteous before you. We ask this in the name of your beloved son, Jesus Christ. Amen.
