Orchid has the following characteristics :
Have three sepals (flower petals). One of them is located on the back facing upwards called dorsal sepal.
Has three petals (flower petals) which are alternated with flower petals.
One of the petals located below is shaped like a tongue called a labellum (flower lips), making a symmetrical flower between the left and the right.
Pistil and stamens (male and female parts) are joined together in the so-called column.
Pollen is usually gathered together in a section called pollinia.
The fruit has very small seeds and many. Flower stalks can be twisted as they grow, depending on the direction of the light source.
