I've started a new project based on some ideas rattling around in my brain, basically to use the onsite wardrobe function of Subeta to create new characters and worlds to help relieve some of the creativity that's been building up in my head and encourage my own creativity as well :)

Family: All of clan Adro, about 200 or so elves. Biological family unknown, as all elves are raised communally.
History: Lorsan was actually born to a different clan, but when he was about sixty years old there was a meeting of the clans and his clan sent him to clan Adro. As elven clans are generally not a sustainable population and reproduction for multiple generations would cause inbreeding this trading of members at the clan meetings every fifty or so years is important to keep future generations healthy. To make this easier, elves are raised communally and often have no idea who their biological parents and adults are encouraged to have multiple partners as long as they are of consenting age in order to give the population as much genetic diversity as possible.
So even after a few decades with his original clan getting traded to clan Adro was not as heartbreaking as it otherwise might have been. Sure Lorsan missed the friends he'd made, and even the few lovers he'd taken, but it could have been worse.
Within the clan Lorsan's main function is as a guard. Both while the clan is moving and once they settle down, Lorsan keeps an eye on their surroundings and alerts the others to any potential dangers. Mostly wild animals, as they don't travel too close to populated areas and most know to avoid elven clans even then. The few of other races who come near know better than to try and cause trouble and so mostly do so out of a want to trade equipment or information.
It's a simple life, more or less, but Lorsan enjoys it. He helps protect the others from danger and feels that is an important role, and when he's not doing that he enjoys simple pleasures of life and just taking things one day at a time.
