Hi steemians greetings of Peace and Good health to each and everyone around the globe. It's my 61th day of steemit community. And i'd like to share to everyone the beauty of kindness and generosity. This post focus to a good friend of mine named Kuya (Big Bro or Eldest Bro) Rino who wish to celebrate his birthday to those who are in need. He mentioned instead of buying new things or eating savvy with friends, he changed of heart and wish to spend his birthday to the kids and devote his resources to the young ones.
A few days ago Kuya Rino, invited me to plan about his birthday. He planned that his birthday will be different from the usual birthday he has and he wants to give back all the blessings and he seeks assistance in this matter for he knows my line of advocacy. After several minutes of brain storming we decided to use up his birthday with the kids of House of Joy. House of Joy is a private shelters that take care of abandoned, neglected, rejected and abused children from their parents, siblings, relatives and guardians.

After several days of preparation the moment of through is about to turn. I went ahead to house of joy to secure the venue, chairs and tables for the participants and volunteers and sound system. Double check all the materials needed for the games. As soon as Kuya Rino and Berjes Family arrived the children arrange themselves at the venue to greet and welcome the guest. We started our activity with a short prayers led by Sister Martha and the rest of the follow of the activities are shown below.

Children and teens enjoyed their food. One child speak "this is my first time to eat such good food. This is the greatest day of my life. I'm glad i belong to this group. I thought nobody love and care about us but you all came and made a family out of me.
Children can't contain their happiness and joy as they feel loved and cared by the people who shared their time and attention to them.
As a way of giving thanks to their benefactors. The children gave a warm message and a dance presentation as a token of appreciation to their generous guest.

Everyone were happy beyond words. It was a rewarding feeling for the volunteers and guest to be able to make a difference in someone life.
We ended our day with positively successfull and happy. We prayed at some point we made a imparted to them the value of team work, self respect, self care, hope, dreams and life goals. We are totally inspired and satisfied to be able to touch many lives. We hope we gave them the lead that they need for their respective life. We are positive enough we have guided them to their life dreams and positive to fulfill it. We are more than happy to be able to engage with the children. They have given us so much more than what we could offer to them. This kind of experience reminded me the quote made by Calvin Coolidge, speak of "No person was ever honored for what he received. Honor has been the reward for what he gave."
