Microscopic QR Codes are an unused method of storing private keys secretly! Imagine diamond with microscopic laser etched QR code of private key to a bitcoin wallet! I found a $65 laser engraver!

So I was wondering if we could have a Qr code printed so small that you would need a microscope to see it, but anyone with a basic little microscope adapter for a smartphone camera could get a good shot of the qr code, if they needed to, but its a great way to hide a private key in plane sight!

I already found a post about microscopic QR codes on money to fight counterfeiting!

so they ALREADY have qr codes on money! we just cant see them!

Invisible QR codes tackle counterfeit bank notes - Institute of Physics

Interesting to me because recently I made this mockup of a bitcooin backed us federal bitcoin dollar design

https://steemit.com/bitcoin/@ackza/federal-bitcoin-note-what-the-us-paper-dollar-of-the-future-will-have-to-look-like-to-survive

And now I see a great application of QR codes! We can hide them in random spots on special pieces of paper, or objects that we can use as our private key!

While looking up this subject I found a steemit post about Miccroscopic Hard drives holding terabytes of info using individual atoms as bits of info to hold terabytes in a square inch
https://steemit.com/technology/@nkdk/atom-scale-storage-holds-62tb-in-a-square-inch

And then I also thought of having a laser engraved crystal with a tiny microscopic QR code that you have to use a microscope to photograph and get the private key! Just like this!

WOAh but then EXACTLY like this! I JUST found this while looking up "Laser engraved qr code crystal and it was next to the picture above in google images!

This is from wophotonics.com I would love to contact them to find out how much it costs to engrave tiny QR codes like this and IF THEY CAN SELL US the machines because we cant trust just anyone to laser angrave a qqr code that might end up being a private key to a bitcoin account for example ;) we would want to buy our own laser engraving machine!

Ah we can finally buy industrial lasers, my childhood dream coming true because of steemit! A nerd whale out there can put up the money we need to get a cheap laser and hook it up to a printer! holy shit we could probably BUILD a laser engraver CHEAP!

dude WHAT? $65 ? for a LASER ENGRAVER I KNEW it would be cheap!! its just a laser and a printer! both of which are extremely cheap now because of mass production!

WOW just look up laser engraver on google products!!

Its like there are a ton for cheap! fifty to 200 bucks! At the top you see a 3000 CUTTINg machine yeah it CUTS stuff too thats why its more expensive but even that is cheap for alot of steemit users now And they could use that to cut out steemit logos from woood or metal or whatever material!

really cool to see how cheap such an amazing tool is! Now I know that I can buy my own laser engraver and engrave my own QR codes onto any material I want! even microscopic ones! those laser engravers can probobly be hacked to be super accurate and print super small microscopic qr codes that you would need a lense to see!

I think we could really create something cool with the laser etchings of tiny qr codes onto clear flat cut quartz crystals to save our own steemit passwords! or onto silver or copper or gold coins!

Let me know your ideas for what we could do with a tool like a laser engraver OR a cutter to make cool steemit lapel pins for example!

microscopic QR code i had to add :)
