Continuamos con otra cerveza de los madrileños de la Quince para el #beersaturday de esta semana. La marca ha encontrado un filón en los homenajes a películas o series televisivas. En esta ocasión le ha tocado el turno a la que quizá sea la serie más vista en los últimos años. Se trata de Stranger Things.

Los lúpulos del hemisferio Sur están de moda y en concreto los de Nueva Zelanda. Nada que ver con los centroeuropeos o americanos clásicos. Éstos aportan mucho sabor tropical y matices exóticos como el melón o incluso el coco. No son de mis favoritos, pero actualmente lo están inundando todo. No cervecera que se precie que no tenga su cerveza o cervezas con los lúpulos de moda.
La cerveza es una IPA de corte moderno de manual. Densa, muy frutal, turbia y realmente fácil de beber. No se aprecia para nada el alcohol y el sabor a frutas se lleva por delante cualquier atisbo de amargor.
We continue with another beer from Madrid's La Quince for this week's #beersaturday. The brand has found a vein in homages to movies or television series. This time it was the turn of what may be the most watched series in recent years. It's about Stranger Things.

Trio of collaborations between the people from Madrid, the Finns from Salama and the New Zealand hop brand PikNZell.
Hops from the southern hemisphere are in vogue and specifically those from New Zealand. Nothing to do with the classic Central Europeans or Americans. These bring a lot of tropical flavor and exotic nuances such as melon or even coconut. They are not one of my favorites, but they are currently flooding everything. No self-respecting brewery does not have its beer or beers with the latest hops.
The beer is a modern manual cut IPA. Dense, very fruity, cloudy and really easy to drink. The alcohol is not appreciated at all and the fruit flavor takes away any hint of bitterness.
