For those of you who are not familiar of the event, it’s an avenue for athletes to have a chance to fight or play for a position on the National team of a given sport. Deserving and noteworthy players may earn a spot in the Philippine team and will soon represent the country in International competitions. Players come from the different regions of the country and will play under an official delegation of a province or chartered city.

Most games are to be held in Cebu, with Gymnastics and Rugby Football played in Manila. Delegates from other regions have arrived this week and the Cebu City Sports Center is getting jam-packed for the registration of athletes, coaches and officials. With this, the usual summer classes of the different sports have been put on hold including our Karate summer class but the kicking and punching goes on as the heat of the National games is rising.

For those who are interested to watch the games here are the proposed venue and schedule of events: (subject to change)
