As part of our university curriculum, every department is mandated to host a yearly acquaintance party to welcome new students for them to mingle not just with other new students but also for the old ones.
Last wednesday Civil Engineering department celebrates its annual acquaintance party in our university gymnasium with the theme of "Establishing deformable foundations through remarkable bonds".
Civil engineering students ramps the stage with their bohemian attire and beautiful faces #CEBonhomie which means, building friendship among co-civil engineering students. In order to build frienship, the PICE officers who facilitates the program conducts some activities like games in groups, live bands, trivia and etc. to foster social characters to interact individually among others.
The flow of activities includes oath taking of the newly elected committees, games, live band, awarding of certificates to sponsors and also the choosing of the aphrodite and adonis of the night as well as the head turner students that beautifully stand out during that night.
With the sponsorship of One fine pictures who willingly prepare photobooth beside and mega review center the official review center of civil engineering students, the party was successfully launched that bonds the unity and friendship of everyone.
The party was attended by eight different sections of civil engineering students together with the mentors and sponsors. Teamwork and determination was exercised during games which was divided into twelve colored groups while editting skills was examined during the video making contest of each section then eating dinner chilly while the band starts to play music.
BSCE 1-D grabs the prize for being the winner of video making and head turner representative while BSCE 1-D1 and BSCE IV-D crowns their representatives in aphrodite and adonis of the night.
It was such an unforgettable experience to meet new faces and to be acquinted with new friends. Cheers for everyone who participated in the party.
