Games are never enough

I don't know at what age a cat "gets old" and stops doing mischief, playing and bullying siblings.

To a humane mother, her kittens will always be the little mischief-makers she photographed when they were born and still sucking milk from their mother. She will never see them as big, grown men making their own decisions in their lives lol.

And yet, I felt like my children were all grown up, each with their own unique character. I thought they had become quite reserved, sensible and... grown up.

That's why I'm surprised when I catch them in this move:

They are now 4 years old and continue to fight and bully each other at every opportunity. Sometimes I see them do this really quite on purpose, hooking and hitting to make the fight happen.

Maybe the little kids in kindergarten do the same. And they're not little kids in kindergarten anymore, are they? 😹
Yet, they always manage to amuse their mother and she still pulls out her phone to take pictures of them, marveling at their constant energy and need to play.

Aren't they adorable? 😺
