Creating graphics for articles made easy with various Image Creation Platforms

How creating visuals for your article is easier these days. Earlier I used to put images from https://pixabay.com/ or https://www.pexels.com/ where I can find free photos appropriate to my post. However, now I don’t use them, as I generate image illustrations using AI generators or make my own illustrations using canva.com.

One of the go-to spots now where I search for free images and generate images using AI is - https://www.freepik.com/ . Here one can search for free images and generate image graphics using AI.

Detailing the process employed in the creation of my illustrations

Created using canva.com

My journey using AI itself began making images, first for creating customized birthday cards and then for creating graphics for my articles.

Let me detail how I create my illustrations, explaining how I created banners for my articles using image creation tools.

My most recent article being – Entertainment & Dramas from the USA - Fed Rates, Trump's crypto show off, SEC & More...

This is supposed to have some fun vibes inspired by this song entertaining us using Trump’s ridiculous statements and talks, mainly on him mentioning on the debate that he has an anti-immigrant stance because immigrants eat Springfield's cats, dogs and pets.

However, I added other common US events making news from America – FED rate cuts, buzz on Polymarket with trades placed on who becomes the president of USA, Trump immersing into Web3 culture and Trump in general making news.

SEC and Gary Genslar also were subjects in my article, because they always keep making news announcing their intention of taking enforcement actions on even decentralized Web3 entities!

As the upcoming American elections will determine a new President, hope is the President be it Trump or Harris appoint a SEC chair person who regulates the WEB3 space sensibly with regulations that allow and permit Web3 businesses to function and grow while protecting investors interest.

That banner was in continuation of my previous post -:

My Random take on flashy US events - Crypto, FED rates and more...

This focused more on US Federal Reserve's Rate cuts and my surprise that FED cut interest rates by 0.50% basis points instead of 0.25%. I also delve on the fact that I expected USD to depreciate against other global currencies post-rate cut, which did not happen immediately post-rate cuts but was looking to happen at the time of writing.

SEC and Gary Gensler came into the scene again because they are always creating headlines in the US by threatening to take enforcement action on some Web3 player or other in the US.

My banner illustration here articulates these points my article talks about.

Here are some of my thoughtful banners trying to convey the idea that EVM Web3 apps have evolved to be sovereign, scalable platforms while they are secured by Ethereum. This is possible due to Layer 2 solutions (L2s).

Web3 platforms launched and built on these L2s, have their transaction execution process handled by these L2 platforms, while settlement/finality of transactions takes place on L1 Ethereum.

L2s execute transactions and send proof of execution to L1 Ethereum where this proof is verified after which finality happens in Ethereum Blockchain.

Detailing my process of creating banners for my articles

Now let me outline the creative process behind making of these illustrations.

I make these illustrations/banners after writing my article. So, I design banners and graphics having a good understanding about the subject matter of my article.

I generally enjoy the process, as it involves me in a creative activity, but I take a lot of time to design these banners.

First, I try to figure out what banner to design for my article. I ask chatgpt for ideas and get inspiration. It hightlights the main themes of my article, colour scheme and what graphic elements I can incorporate in the banner.

After that I design my banner in canva.com.

From Canva I can obtain a lot of free graphics, icons that I can incorporate in the banner.

For ex -

All graphic elements of this first banner I showcased I procured from canva platform only. USA continent and all those icons, the red chat cloud design, Bitcoin symbol, smily and everything.

After I finish my banner, I ask chatgpt to provide feedback on my banner. It provides insights on how it can be further enhanced – font, colour, readability, spacing, colour contrast and stuff. It also highlights the credible aspects of my banner and areas to work on to improve it.

So, Canva is a very essential platform for me to create my illustrations.

Enhancing Articles with Meaningful Visuals and Banners

A good article should not only have high-quality text content but should also be complemented with visuals that reinforce and expand upon the information provided in the text. Visuals add depth to the article and help convey the intended meaning.

Additionally, visuals enhance the overall presentation of the article, making it more engaging and appealing to readers.

A well-designed banner for an article can leave a positive impression on the reader, similar to a book's cover page. Upon seeing the banner, readers may decide whether the article is worth their time to read further.

Therefore, it's important to put effort into creating meaningful banners for articles to make a stronger impact and draw the attention of readers.
