Nio has unveiled another model – the ET9. In S-class.

Nio has unveiled a limousine that wants to compete with cars such as the Mercedes S-class, BMW i7 and Audi A8.

Whether it will compete with long-established opponents remains to be seen in journalistic tests, but an interesting feature is the 900V technology, which allows you to "refuel" 160 miles of range in just 5 minutes. Charging can be done at 600 kW, I'm curious how thick the cable must be to carry such charging power. The twin-motor version has a power of up to 700 hp, but we have already got used to such absurd power in electric cars and it does not make a great impression anymore. On the other hand, Nio's new NX9031 AD chip set is impressive. According to the manufacturer's data, the 5 nm, 32-core automotive grade processor is 75 per cent faster than the automotive industry average. It's an interesting phrase for marketing reasons, but it doesn't mean it's the fastest in the industry. The car has a rather unusual shape in this class: a bit of an SUV, a bit of a limousine, and a bit of a coupe. Time will tell if customers will like such aesthetics.
