In France, police used heavy motovation BMW R 1200 RT boxer motors. These are good cars for patrolling, but not for dashing driving and figure skating, and in the parade in honor of the Bastille day it was required to perform pirouettes.
Two police officers a little didn't calculate a trajectory of movement, hit each other at an angle and fell on asphalt. One gendarmes quickly raised 250-pound bike, but the second to do it alone failed, it took the help of colleagues. The President of France and high-ranking guests reacted to this accident... with applause.
It is curious that this is not the only embarrassment that occurred at the festival. In the air part of the parade, the participants of the Patrol de France aerobatic team had to release jets of smoke into the sky in the colors of the French flag, but one jet turned out to be the wrong color, and the order was broken.
The pilots, however, had nothing to do with it-just in one of the aircraft equipment installed a checker with red smoke, and needed blue.
