What will happen is that you will have numerous OS updates in times and after 2 years malware will be installed to deliberately slow down your vehicle so that you update to TELSA model 3GX with 20% more power :)))) (just kidding)
Although, I see ac tually synergy and TESLA=APPLE is quite hyped (not advanced, but just hyped) and fanboy infested. That means lots of ground for marketing material and smart technology development.
