Volvo V60 Review and Road Test

This week we have the Volvo V60, the baby brother of the V90 we had around this time last year.

The model we have is the Momentum Pro powered by the D4 2 Litre diesel engine coupled to an 8 speed automatic gearbox.

This estate car is outstanding, it's well refined, very comfortable, dynamic to drive with its changeable driving modes, tech loaded and incredibly safe.

The range starts at just under £32,000, our model is around the £45,000 and loaded with options as you'll see it even comes with a retractable optional tow bar.

It's roomy, has a class leading boot, you can drop the rear electronic seats with a touch of a button and in true Voolvo style it has a ski hatch.

The interior is executive, with electric front seats with electronic lumbar and in the back there's even a 3 pin socket.

The infotainment system is portrait style and controls everything from aircon to the cars settings, as well of course having DAB, Sat Nav etc, it even gives you mpg, the dash has navigation and as well as a fuel computer and HUD.

This is a serious contender in the luxury estate market.

The safety systems are outstanding with intellisafe, cross traffic monitor, blind spot detection to name a few, as is autopilot, even with Michael driving spiritedly he still achieved 45 mpg, on an eco run likely 50's.

The V60 comes in a range of trims as well engines and gearboxes.
