Subaru XV 2019 Review & Road Test

This week we tested the SUV form Subaru, the XV, the model we had was a 1.6 petrol SE, you can also get a 2.0.

The gearbox does get take a bit of getting used to, it drives very well, however 0-60 does take 13.9, the 2.0 will achieve it in around 10.

Economy staggered us, the car claims 41mpg, we achieved 45mpg.

The model retails for just over £26,000 and has some rather clever kit.

This latest version looks far more agressive than the earlier model, and far more inkeeping with the rest of the Subaru range.

It has offroad look cladding, and its looks do match its capabilities, it has permanent symmetrical awd.

This is no softroader, it can cope with a variety of terrains, and cuts thorugh deep mud with ease, also it has a rather high ride height, as you'll see.

It's very practical and comfortable too and has infotainment system with DAB, Bluetoothe, Apple Carplay and Android auto.

It is also NCAP 5 and faetures Subaru's Eyesight system and has active cruise control too.

A great all rounder for a very reasonable price.
