I wanted to get my car to 100,000 miles and I did

Dear Steemit Readers,

I read an article over 10 years ago about how easy it is to get a car to 100,000 miles. Just to prove that I can read an article and do it. I have just got my car to 100,006 miles. I read that if you get regular maintenance on a car. It should get to 100,000 miles. I got my car to 100,006.

I did it. I got my car to 100,000 + miles. I read an article and I did it. I read how to go to a mechanic. Get the regular oil change for around $40 to $60 and ask to check the belts and tubes and make sure nothing is getting worn. And I got the car to 100,000. I was told preventive maintenance would keep my car to 100,000 miles. I just got it to 100,000 today.

I was told it was pretty easy. I got there between 2008 and 2018, 10 years and 100,000 later. I got a 2007 Suzuki Reno hatchback to 100,000 miles. I read an article about how easy it was. And it cost around $500 a year for 10 years. Or $5000 plus $2800 for a major tuneup to get it to 100,000. That is the cost of a replacement vehicle. So for the price of 2 cars. I got 1 car to go 100,000 in ten years.

I could have bought a car 5 years ago instead of maintaining it. But I wanted to write about getting the car to 100,000 miles just to get it to 100,000. I got it from NJ to Topeka KS to Towanda Pennsylvania and back to NJ to get it to 100,000 miles. Just to write about it. I could maybe get it to 200,000. If I am super careful. It would cost another car. I could buy a car instead of maintaining it for another 200,000. But I might see if I can get it to 200,000. Just to see if I can. I could buy a new car for the cost of maintaining it. But I might see if I can get it to 200,000. Just because. I might give it to my dad to see if he can get it to 200,000. We shall see.
