At the New york Auto Con last year, I spotted this really awesome modified 2nd Generation Toyota MR2 also known as SW20. The MR2 had always intrigued me, it was the only mid engine japanese sports car other than the Acura/Honda NSX. It's 2.0 Liter 4 cylinder Turbo 3SGTE engine was a little slice of heaven that powered this 2755lbs rear wheel drive magic carpet. It's no wonder why the 1990's were the golden age for japanese sports cars because they simply don't make these kinds of cars anymore. It was such a fun and brilliant platform that Toyota kept it on the market in japan for 10 years!
