There is no doubt that the Nissan GTR is the most famous car of the Japanse manufacturer Nissan, but what about Nissan Z models? Are they worse? We don't think so! Nissan Z models are fantastic and in this article, we are going to prove it! We pointed only nine reasons, but we are also sure that you can find at least seven more. Let's get started!

They are perfect for Drifting, oh yeah!
With all that bhp – there is one thing you should immediately do – drift the hell out of it! The bhp you made when you decided to go for a Z rather than a GT-R or Skyline, you will drive past the 240SX with the biggest grin on your face.

The Fairlady Z will will always be immortal
What we love about the Z-series is that it’s proud of its origin. The disparate generations Z have received a local name in each country they were imported, for ex. the US Datsun from 1969 to 1985, however, Japan keeps and passes on its original Fairlady Z name from one generation to another.

The Z cars are easy to identify.

Nissan Z is popular for its long nose and hatchback-like flair and it’s been that way for a long time – and especially since the redesign of 350Z, which made it its signature thing. Actually, between the 280ZX Nissan and 300ZX Nissan was more concerned with the style of its rides rather than their performance.

Even though this attitude enraged the enthusiasts, they couldn't stay mad for long, as it was exactly this occurrence that made us praise so much its curvaceous style. Its signature silhouette can hardly be mistaken, even if a new feature like new shape of the taillights appears on the Z.

One of the greatest 90's JDM cars, Nissan 300zx Z32
When we talk the Z-series – there is one specific car that we just HAVE to mention. That’s the best selling Nissan 300Z X (1990), the first production car designed on a CAD program and also available as a twin-turbo model. However, it didn't manage to keep its best-seller status for long as price inflation and society’s interest in SUV cars managed to kill it.

You can be different in every possible way
You can transform your Z into whatever you want. A good example for that is Marcus Ian Meyer and his lifted 350z. No this is not SUV, it's still a sports car. Some of you probably know the car, others don't. As you can see in the video below this is not the typical 350Z.

If you query is it transformed into an All-wheel-drive car, calm down guys it's not. Although the all different modifications installed on the car, it is still a rear-wheel-drive beast.

With an example like this, you'll probably agree with me that you can you use the power of the Z car even out of the roads. If you want to get more information about this car, check owner's Instagram.

You'll drive a Nismo for much less money than a GTR

Ready to look at some numbers? A new 370Z NISMO costs £37,575 ($43,020), which is basically half of what you’d pay for new GT-R costs £78,000 ($100,000).

Just consider the price difference – with this amount of money can actually buy a twin turbo, performance clutch and of course lightweight flywheel, stand-alone engine management system, bigger brakes, fully adjustable suspension, racing tires, forged internals and a large wing for the power you’re now making.

it's hard to escape from perfection.

The 2016 Nissan 370z Fairlady presents all the things car enthusiasts love about cool sports cars. From the long, smooth hood to the six-cylinder engine, this vehicle includes the incredible beauty and power that petrolheads have long connected with Nissan Z models. Like every other vehicle, the beautiful sports cars has changed its design over the years. Nevertheless, the Japanese automaker has preserved the classic styling of the iconic coupe.

A wonderful presence on the the track

If you've ever been behind the wheel of a Z you've immediately noticed two things – it can be effortlessly thrown sideways, while it simultaneously gives you great mechanical grip. And even though the Z’s are quite heavy for a two-seater (around 3200-3600lbs for a 350Z), their power-to-weight ratio is still perfectly satisfying for petrolheads like us.

Don't worry We are not going to skip the Nismo!

It’s just sad that the Skyline somehow manages to overshadow such an awesome ride like Nismo. Just think of Nismo's sexy body kid, Brembos, independent multi-link suspension, a larger exhaust… or in other words – the Nismo is always the right choice if you’re also a fan of the Z. And the 2016 Nismo models prove it. With Nismo badge, the Z car is one of the fastest hatchbacks in the auto world, probably one of the best hatchbacks ever made, but this is just an opinion.
