This event takes place right underneath my balcony! Lucky for me, I get to watch all these cars without even leaving my house but, today we get down on street level so you can see it too. This car show is an annual event in Colorado Springs in an area called Old Colorado City which is a historic “Old West” town. All of the buildings down here are late 1880’s to about 1925 and this area once was a booming town servicing the gold mining industry which is still in operation about 40 min away and up the mountain pass. This area was where the gold was refined, hotels, bars, general stores, etc. Having a classic car show on this street just feels right! Enjoy.
