This beautiful example is estimated to € 90,000 / $US 110,000, and actually (March 4th) the next bid is € 48,000, so half price... A bargain...
History of Alpine A110
The Alpine A110 is sports car produced by Alpine founded in 1955 by Jean Rédélé, garagiste's son in the North of France. He began by developping a Renault 4CV for competition, it was a success with 3 victories in a row in the Mille Miglia in its class and during the Coupe des Alpes.

Powered by a Renault engine, the A110 Berlinette was launched in 1961 in different versions :
🏎️ cabriolet between 1962 and 1969
🏎️ berlinette or coupé between 1962 and 1977
🏎️ coupé GT4 2+2 between 1962 and 1969
From 1965, the Alpine was distributed by Renault and in 1969, the Alpine became the Alpine-Renault.
The car had many successes in rallies with the three first positions during the 1969 Coupe des Alpes and a third position in the Monte Carlo Rally the same year.
But the Alpine A110 has some defects, with years, its finish was deteriorating like its sound isolation. And it wasn't easy to control it, a car for experienced drivers ! With a great design done by Giovanni Michelotti and this little flaws, the Renault Alpine remains a sought-after car for all collectors.
Specification
The Renault Alpine A110 1600 SX Coupé has a Renault 1,647 cc engine producing 92 hp with a top speed of 192 kmh.
This example was restored in 2007 with engine and suspensions improvements for competition. And afterwards, the car took part in several historic rallies with the Repsol Team.

In 2017, a new Alpine A110 was presented at the Geneva Motor Show. Huge commwercial success, all the 1955 examples, in reference of the year of creation of the French automaker Alpine, was sold.
Great performance thanks toa turbocharger and with 7-speed dual-clutch automatic, the four-cylinder engine delivers 252 hp and offers great performance with the 100 kmh in just 4.5 seconds.
