July 1st is Canada Day. A day we celebrate becoming a country and showing our national pride in the same. A day for festivities all around the country culminating in a prolonged fireworks display. Typically I will wander over to the fair and look around but spend my evening inside during the fireworks.
Max does not like fireworks and becomes a quivering mass of fur with each explosion. So, instead I will spend the night with him trying to reassure him that those bad sounds will not hurt him. Especially this year with his recently having injured himself.
