Getting your period for the first time is a big deal for girls. Today I attended a workshop for girls between 8 years old and 14 years old about the first flow and how to deal with everything around it. It was very informative.
The name of the organisation was Arrow First Period Kit. They worked together with Royal Rose Yoni Spa and together they really made the girls feel comfortable enough to talk about this subject.
After the workshop all the girls got a cute box with a little pouch containing pads, sanitizer and lots more the girls will need to be prapared for their first flow. They also received a lot of information about hygiene which is also very important. I have also learned a lot.
Don't be ashamed to talk to your daughters, nieces, cousins about their first period. We can all benefit from the information.
