I love the prompt for today which is "Parol" or lantern. This is really the Christmas decoration that says local to me. This is what I grew up with. A Pinoy Christmas wouldn't be complete for me without it and of course my favorite sweet delicacies after the misa de gallo.
My drawing is a vibrant yellow five point star that hangs outside an open window. I chose a Nipa hut because this is a very traditional house that matches perfectly with my drawing of a parol.
Honestly, I love this greeting card that I made. 😚 The message says:
Maligayang Pasko
which means Merry Christmas.
