B&W Photo Contest | Water Theme | Entry One | Mist Over the Colorado

Colorado Mist JPG.jpg

When I was growing up, the Colorado river was not somewhere you wanted to hang out. The water was filthy, the river banks were worse, and there was a good chance you'd catch something other than fish. These days, however, both banks of the river near Yuma, Arizona, are clean, well-kept and absolutely a good place to spend the day.

This shot was taken just above Anya Nitz Park at around seven in the morning.
