Here is the East Ramp to the Lower Level of Grand Central Terminal. I took this picture from the 42nd Street Passage. Grand Central is of course one of the great public spaces in New York and indeed the world.
For a time, I commuted through this masterpiece every day. And I never took it for granted. It's a gem.
