Where Will You Be During Steemfest 4? Steemfest 5?

I came across a wonderful post on @dlike today that had a picture I couldn't resist.

Looking over the CEO list, I can say, this is the mindset and approach I bring to Steem for the most part. Hence, I updated the picture.

  1. School is still optional
  2. Learn all you can about Steem. There is a lot more than people see at first glance.
  3. Each of us is really running a business on here.
  4. SMTs BABY!!!! And more coming!!!
  5. Do this until Steemfest 4 or 5 and see where your account will be
  6. Read my post about Steem compounding.
  7. Only need an internet connection
  8. Choose any of the hours during the day as long as you choose most of them.
  9. Steem based tokens could really take off.
  10. Is Ned single?
  11. See #10
  12. Isn't that the point of cryptoeconomics?

If we each approach our Steem accounts like a business, notice how the difference in mindset. Sure, there are many who are here for fun or enjoyment of particular applications and that is great. I do not believe, however, that is the majority. We feel something bigger is taking place.

Breaking free from the scarcity system is going to require abundance of resources. This is what cryptoeconomic systems can offer. We have a number of tokens already being distributed with more to come.

Steem is not an overnight success story. We are still in the early days. The blockchain is still a toddler. The same holds true for the applications on it. Our accounts are small compared to what they will be in the future. Not all of it will be STEEM mind you; we will have accounts filled with other coins. However, the totality should be much larger than it is today.

The value of all these tokens comes down to community. This is where the value is. Those of us who come home from work and get on Steem are doing what we can to push this blockchain forward. It is the longer term view that enables us to get over the rough patches. We are going to encounter more difficulties. No success was without setbacks. Steem is no exception.

I ask where you will be during Steemfest 4 &5?

Even if you are not going to be there, will you still be on the Steem blockchain? Is your commitment such that you will still be as active as you can be? Are you dedicated to consistently growing your account and putting in the time to do that? Many on here are not and that is fine. A lot of people reading this today will be long gone by Steemfest 4 let alone 5. That is just the nature of the beast.

I can promise you that I will be one Steemian still on this blockchain in a year. By this time next year, I expect my account will be bigger because I am dedicated to making it happen. I am amassing SMTs as I can and will do more as they become available. I set this intention and will persist until it manifests.

Steem is a very simple process: to get the payoff, the work is required. It might take a month to start making headway; it might take 6 months. Nevertheless, those that stick to it do eventually start to make progress. As I wrote last week, there is no better time to be on Steem than right now simply because so many SMTs are starting to distribute coins. This makes it much easier to get rewarded.

I am the CEO of my own account. The picture above shows me the traits that I need to put forth if I am to be successful.

I know there are others on here who look at this the same as I do.

We might not be at Steemfest 4 or 5, but we will surely be on here a year from now.
