Steem: My First Piece On Coinidol

We all have our part to play in advancing and growing the Steem ecosystem. This is a "we" project since we all are stakeholders in it Thus far, we see the results of having some many wonderful developers who create applications that we use and enjoy.

The community on Steem is second to none. We are able to do so much when we focus our attention on something. Just look at the number of times there were contests to see what coin would be listed in a wallet or on exchange. When we set things in motion, it was usually done running away.

I was recently tasked with putting together a Press Release for @dlease to promote that application. This is an exciting project that I think holds enormous potential down the road. The possibilities of other digital assets added to the platform could be of great interest to businesses. Imagine being able to lease out Resource Credits to those businesses looking to be a part of Steem but lack the resource to buy a ton of Steem Power.

This Release was posted on Coinidol. Here is the link.

The team asked if everyone would head over there and leave a comment. This is just another way for us to show how much support Steem can garner up. The comments might not elicit much but it is a way to capture some attention.

I always write how each thing we do is another building block in this ecosystem. There is not one "holy grail" that is going to launch Steem to the top. Instead, it is consistent action on a daily basis that builds upon what was done the day before. Our user base grows one person at a time. It is our responsibility to do what we can to direct people towards what is taking place here.

One Press Release might get us a few more people signing up. If that is the case, it served its purpose. Or, perhaps, it motivates an investor to buy a few more STEEM. In this instance, the target is eyeballs outside the Steem ecosystem.

It is always beneficial when Steem shows up on some of the mainstream cryptocurrency/blockchain sites. The number of eyeballs those places get compared to the rest of the industry is higher. Certainly, it does not rival the N.Y. Time or a site like Marketwatch but it is a beginning.

Now is the time to leverage that article. Send it out on social media. Coinidol might not be the biggest crypto news source yet it is a still a recognized name. At this point, we are at the stage of informing people about Steem. We need to get the word out.

Taking a single piece and using it multiple times is the way to maximize the benefits. Pass the link around to try and get this site some clicks. Let them know we can take a story and promote it.

We are all in this together.
