Our emotional well-being often depends on learning from experience, learning to value our past whether it was good or bad, without mortgaging our future. >I just control how I face things, not even the ones I have to face. Learning this is important, to feel that not everything that happens in life happens because the world is against us. Yes, there are things that do not make us happy, or that are not right, but these things happen to people regardless of whether they are good or bad, they are things that happen… In the same way, closing cycles is an act of self-love, not weakness, and even honoring our resilience of what was, we must courageously embrace what is to come. You know why I'm saying this... Because not everything that is missed deserves to come back, which I am sure is that we should always deserve the opportunity to have a better tomorrow. In fact, when my mood is low, I lift it up with exercises, short tasks because the reality is that I am only doing an update of my emotional software, that is, that which generates uncertainty for me, is just an opening of the lived experience and is my best support for my personal growth. It is not about erasing the past, it is about using what has been lived as information, learning and transformation, not as condemnation. But, it seems a bad idea to take hold of that external thing that does not depend on us. It makes much more sense to think what if it depends on us, and that's exactly the way we respond to what happens to us that in the short term, the easy thing is comfortable, and in the long term, the uncomfortable thing is what frees us. It will be that we have to train in how we react to see the world in a different way... In the same way, many times we avoid effort or vulnerability by looking for "the shortest way", without realizing that we are choosing to stay in the same place. Real growth requires going through that discomfort curve to reach a more empowered version of ourselves. We have to stop looking at the rearview mirror and leave behind the myth of a clean slate that does not necessarily mean that we are starting from scratch. It is normal to feel afraid of change, that is to leave our comfort zone, that does not mean that we are going backwards, we are just taking momentum with a more solid foundation, creating our own history.
